COMPANY is a regional accounting firm that services high-quality clients who are mainly primary producers and small businesses. Our rapidly-growing business loves to empower small businesses around their finances through timely, accurate and efficient bookkeeping solutions, training, and support. 

We are looking for either a qualified accountant or a school/TAFE/university leaver looking to kick-start their accounting career, offering either full-time or part-time work dependent on the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and availability. Our offer includes stable employment that will keep you interested, stimulated and challenged. Should you choose to accept, further career opportunities will be available as well. Assistance with study costs may be available to the right applicant.

Duties will include but are not limited to: 

• Preparation of individual, partnerships, trust and company tax returns and financials
• Preparation of business activity statements
• Preparation of preliminary financials for bank loan purposes/tax estimates and planning
• Assistance with and research into clients’ various tax/CGT/succession-related issues

Requirements:

COMPANY is looking for a meticulous, energetic, and motivated individual who takes pride in their work, shows initiative and demonstrates attention to detail. Organisational skills and a “Can do” attitude, together with high ethical standards, are non-negotiable. You also need to have a high level of skill and experience in the latest computer technologies, be able to familiarise yourself with new software programs quickly and easily, and be comfortable working well both independently and with other staff members.   

Any qualifications and experience would be looked upon favourably but are definitely not essential. You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job.
